My First Socks

Socks, socks, socks, I had been thinking about giving a pair a try for a while, there are so many excellent patterns around and I was up for a new challenge. My mind was made up when I saw this lovely sock wool for sale, an excellent self striper! I thought I should start with something simple and I used Women's Basic Sock, by Margaret Testa, which I downloaded for free from Ravelry. I was surprised how simple they were, they didn't take me too long, they also fit pretty well and are nice and toasty. Fab for a cold January evening!
