Veyla Handwarmers

A long time ago I went to the Knit Nation show with my mum and sister and while we were there we met the talented knit designer Ysolda Teague and I bought a copy of her wonderful book 'Whimsical Little Knits 2' (which she autographed for me!) I also bought a skein of beautiful dark grey Baby Alpaca and totally promised to make my sister the 'Veyla' handwarmers. BUT I got scared! The Baby Alpaca was so lovely I didn't want to ruin it because of my lack of lace work skills so the best option was to practise, practise, practise! So these are the result, I think they've come out pretty good and have given me the confidence to try with the oh so soft and lovely alpaca!
