A good few years ago I bought some gorgeous merino wool, problem was it was lilac, not so gorgeous! I knitted up this jumper from a Jaeger handknits magazine, then shoved it in a box in pieces completely uninspired to finish it. Recently during a clear out I found it and was about to throw it out, but my very clever friend Emer suggested dyeing it. A bit apprehensively I gave it a go, and hooray it came out brilliantly. Rescue mission complete it's now one of the things I actually wear!!!
